The Dead's dancing bears suit up in Terrapin colors. The Grateful Dead played Cole Field House on March 7, 1981, their only show on the College Park campus. It was a two-set night that opened with Alabama Getaway and ran through Bird Song, Lost Sailor > Saint of Circumstance, Truckin' and Black Peter before a One More Saturday Night encore. For a band whose catalog includes Terrapin Station, it doesn't get much more Maryland than that. The Dead also played many shows nearby in Landover, Columbia and Baltimore.
