New Orleans has always been a city of rhythm, soul, and stories, and the Grateful Dead’s chapters here are some of the most legendary. From their infamous 1970 run at The Warehouse, where a post-show hotel raid led to the “busted down on Bourbon Street” line in Truckin’, to their final Louisiana performance in 1988 at the Lakefront Arena, the Dead’s history in the Crescent City is rich and resonant.  Tulane students were always part of that story. Whether it was catching shows at the Saenger Theatre in 1980 or being part of the vibrant local scene that embraced the band’s blend of improvisation and authenticity, the Green Wave community and the Dead shared a kindred spirit.  This collection pays homage to that enduring connection. Featuring unique graphics and officially licensed apparel, it’s a tribute to the vibrant intersection of Tulane’s spirit and the Grateful Dead’s timeless groove.
