Officially licensed by University of Southern California and Grateful Dead. The Dead played a legendary show at the home of the Trojans, LA Memorial Coliseum in June of 1991, to epic fanfare and to set the stage for a string of Summer Music Festivals. Sound technician Dan Healy spent weeks studying the Coliseum to find the best location for the band's speaker towers. Their connection with USC's student population was crucial in embedding the Grateful Dead’s influence into the fabric of the Los Angeles music scene, linking generations of Deadheads with the spirit of Los Angeles.
