Appalachian State x Grateful Dead Mascot Bears Tee
Officially licensed by Appalachian State University and the Grateful Dead. Available exclusively from Class Trip.
The Grateful Dead never played Boone, but their music has always sounded right at home in the High Country. “Cold Rain and Snow,” an early Dead staple featured on the band’s 1967 debut album, came to Jerry Garcia through North Carolina banjo player Obray Ramsey and the old-time musical traditions of the Southern Appalachians. From mountain ballads to last-second blocked kicks, Boone has always known how to make an outsized mark. This collaboration celebrates two originals shaped by community, tradition, and the courage to follow their own path.
