Michigan x Grateful Dead Stacked Bears Tee
Officially licensed by University of Michigan and Grateful Dead - available exclusively through Class Trip.
The Grateful Dead's relationship with the University of Michigan is rooted in their performances at Crisler Arena, particularly their 1989 concert, which became a defining moment for the Ann Arbor campus as the shows came right after the Wolverines won a Basketball National Championship. The Dead were determined to both keep the party in Ann Arbor going and make the two shows there special. Their improvisational, free-spirited music resonated deeply with Michigan students, who were known for their activism, creativity, and intellectual exploration. Jerry was on fire throughout the show, and the Dead's influence on the university was set in stone.
