Spring in Eugene hits a little differently. From early innings under grey skies to long afternoons that stretch into something more, Oregon baseball carries that same undercurrent the Dead found here years ago, loose, creative, and just a little off-script. Oregon was home turf for much of the extended Dead family, Ken Kesey, the Pranksters, and a road crew full of locals.

Long innings, cool air, and a campus that’s always done things a little differently. The Dead felt it from Mac Court to Autzen, and even out to PK Park, and that same spirit carries through today. A slower game, played the right way.
