The Grateful Dead's connection to the Clemson University, particularly through their October 31st Show in 1985 at the Carolina Coliseum in nearby Columbia, carries over their commitment to playing in and around the Southeast throughout their touring days. This show featured a memorable setlist, including a rare "Werewolves of London" as well as a rowdy "West LA Fadeaway". This ended up being the only time the Dead would play in South Carolina, and they left the place rockin' with a memorable "Shakedown Street."
